Volunteers contribute to the work of Girlington Advice and Training Centre in a number of ways and help us deliver much needed services to the local community. There are a number of reasons why you may wish to volunteer – to learn new skills, to share your experience, to make a difference to the community or simply to meet new and interesting people while you work. So if you are interested in the work that we do and think you can make a contribution, we want to hear from you.
We currently have the following opportunities available within our organisation:
Voluntary Management Board Members
We wish to increase our management board team by appointing people who share an understanding and interest in the issues that affect local people. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping the local community.
If you feel that you have relevant skills and experience to offer as a committee member and director of the organisation and you can spare a minimum of 2 hours every four to six weeks to attend meetings, we would like to hear from you.
To find out more about volunteering opportunities with us, then please give us a call on 01274 547118.
In the case of both volunteers and voluntary Management Committee members, we are committed to welcoming people from the widest possible diversity of background, culture and experience.
